Who we are
True Elite UK Couriers Ltd (company no. 16970406), 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us on 07487 303548 or at Trueeliteukcouriers@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, business name (if any), email, phone number, collection and delivery addresses, goods description and required dates.
- If you create an online account: your email address and password, so you can see your own quote requests.
- Delivery records: collection and delivery details, job status updates, and proof of delivery — the receiver's name, signature, and photographs of the delivered goods.
- Bookkeeping: invoices, payments and vehicle records as required by law.
Why we use it
To quote, book, complete and invoice your deliveries, to keep you updated, to keep the required business records, and to improve our service. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it
Only the people who need it to do the job: us, our payment provider for taking payment, our secure hosting provider who stores the data, and the delivery recipient where a delivery is for them. We never share your details for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't become jobs are kept for up to 12 months. Delivery and proof-of-delivery records are kept for up to 2 years. Invoices and accounting records are kept for at least 6 years, as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Our lawful basis
- Contract — to quote, carry out and invoice the deliveries you ask us for, including proof of delivery.
- Legal obligation — to keep invoices and accounting records for as long as tax law requires.
- Legitimate interests — to contact businesses that may need a same-day courier, using business contact details only. Tell us to stop at any time and we will.
Where it is stored and who helps us
- Lovable Cloud — our secure hosting, database and file storage. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only we can sign in to it.
- WhatsApp (Meta) — only when you choose to message us on WhatsApp.
- postcodes.io — postcodes only, used to work out distances. No names or contact details are sent.
- Waze — a destination address is opened in the driver's navigation app when we drive to you.
- AI Gateway — used to write the driver's daily brief from stop places, times and handling notes. Your data is not used to train AI models.
If something goes wrong
If your personal data is lost, accessed by the wrong person or sent to the wrong place, we will act straight away to contain it, tell you if it puts you at risk, and report it to the ICO within 72 hours where the law requires.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores a small amount of essential browser storage only, to keep you signed in to your quotes account and to remember the app's settings. Our WhatsApp buttons simply open a chat with the number you'd expect — WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that chat.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it — just contact us using the details above. If you're not happy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
